The protection of our oceans and coastline is at the core of our mission. With over eight million metric tons of plastic ending up in our oceans each year, we are deeply committed to doing our part to safeguard our planet.
The isolated headland of Whitby provided sanctuary for thousands of years to those in need. Fearless sailors, artful smugglers, world explorers are to name just a few. A unique opportunity has arisen whereby we have acquired the lease of two derelict barns a stones throw away from the world famous Whitby Abbey.
In the grounds of our new Distillery by the world famous English Heritage Site - Whitby Abbey, we are creating a unique pathway leading into our new home.
Our 300L copper still, Dora-Grace, is more than just a distillation apparatus; it's a tribute to Dora Walker, a remarkable figure from Whitby's history.
At the heart of everything we do is our commitment to supporting the community and the wonderful natural environment which surrounds us.
Alongside Luke and Jess, Whitby Distillery is run by a talented team of shipmates. Together we handle everything from foraging heather to distilling, bottling, packaging and sales.
A unique opportunity has arisen to transform two barns next to the Whitby Abbey into our new distillery. We are looking for Founding Members to become part of Whitby’s story.
The shop at our Botany Way Distillery is the perfect spot to browse and sample our range. We have customer parking on site, you can avoid the hustle & bustle of town when calling by.
